The Art of Photography
A photographer who has a range of experience in portraiture, landscape, special events and weddings make photography not just a means of living but a life as well. A photograph has to be the right blend of colors and expressions to be special. Before the time of cameras, people photographed memories with their hearts. In these modern times, almost everyone can capture fleeting moments with a digital camera. Cameras have been improved to take clearer and sharper pictures but it is the trained and watchful eye, the professional eye, specifically, that can capture the runaway moment or evoke the emotion that a picture can convey. Photographers are very artistic people who can capture the nuances of subjects to bring out pictures and portraits that seem to come alive and live to tell a story.
A camera buff doesn’t take a picture thinking that it will win an award. Excellent photographers take pictures because the scenery is wonderfully beautiful and it evokes in them a feeling of reverence and simply just for the love of beauty. Nature is a good subject for photography and it mostly wins awards because there are so many amazing creatures and sceneries to photograph. Human subjects and the fleeting moments in a person’s life or even just ordinary, mundane sceneries are caught in its uniqueness in the lens of a camera. These are just some of the reasons why Dexter Yarbrough and many like him have been called camera buffs.
